Kok Keong Rises In Dentsu

Award winning creative Chow Kok Keong has risen in rank to embrace the role of Executive Creative Director of Dentsu Utama Sdn Bhd; where he will focus on raising the standard of creative output, lead the creative department and continue to grow the agency’s creative reputation.

“Kok Keong’s creative energy and thinking has been an asset to our agency, our clients and our office. His unique ability to combine creativity and business insights has resulted in better campaigns and ultimately produces better results for our clients”, said En Omar Shaari, CEO of Dentsu Utama Sdn Bhd.

It has been about a year since Kok Keong and a few other big talents joined Dentsu; the mission was to ‘level up’ the agency’s creative profile and raising standards.

In his new capacity as Executive Creative Director, Kok Keong will set the strategic creative direction for the team in managing both the local and international clients.

With 20 years of  industry experience under his belt, Chow Kok Keong is one of Malaysia’s leading creative directors who is well known for his creative and innovative work that has helped him obtain over 100 international and regional awards which includes D&AD, Cannes, One Show, Clio, LIAA, Australian Award, AdFest, Spikes and Effies.

He continued his winning streak by leading Dentsu Utama to 4th place in the recent Malaysia Kancil Awards with 4 golds, 13 silvers and 15 bronze awards in less than a year.

Kok Keong has vast amounts of experience; particularly with automobile accounts, having worked on Saab, Porsche, Rover, Perodua, and recently on Honda. He also comes with a strong experience in the banking, telecommunication, FMCG and electronic industry.
